Swayzak - electronic duo formed in London in 1993 releasing first 12" in 1997 followed up to much acclaim - first album Snowboarding In Argentina in 1998 - a journey into minimal deep tech . With 6 studio albums and 2 mix albums for UK giant Fabric 11 and Groovetechnology the first internet radio show , they have continued playing live and djing right up until 2024 . They have worked with labels Tresor , Sony , K7 , Fabric , games GTA , and the music has featured in films and tv commercials.
Swayzak made up of James S Taylor resident of Montpellier France and David Nicholas Brown resident of Glasgow Scotland met in London in 1988 in the acid house days though never quite made it to a rave rather spending their time at various soundsystems around London such as the legendary Jah Shaka . Upon first hearing Basic Channel their love of dubbed out electronics began around 1995 . Always experimental both have made several solo works Taylor likes to tinkle in the french music concrete' zone as Lugano Fell and Brown more of a classic ambient industrialist under his Eightsome Reel project.
Brown plays mostly on the show solo as Montpellier is a bit far away , he plays a crossover of historical documents pressed to vinyl , those that inspire and influence still.
