Speedy RBV has almost 20 years of involvement in Glasgow's rich electronic music scene behind him after running the Inner City Acid club nights at the legendary and sorely missed Soundhaus venue between 2004-2009. Here he booked and warmed up for names such as DJ Pierre, Phuture, Luke Vibert, Radioactive Man, The Youngsters, DMX Krew and more while also championing local and unsigned talent.
OG PR & Social Media Manager at La Cheetah Club, label boss of the short-lived Cold City Cuts imprint and quite possibly wrote some of your favourite local DJ/producers' bios and release reviews in various online publications.
The Rise Up show is a place for more downtempo, leftfield and ambient vibes to compliment your brunch time but its often impossible to avoid the lure of eternal favourite genres of house, UK garage, Detroit techno, hip hop and 80's proto house.
