"“Heavy Not Metal” is a bi-monthly show curated by Kevin Robertson, a Glasgow based dubbing mixer and music lover. Expect heavy music but not necessarily… metal. It showcases music from various genres (metal, post-hardcore, noise-rock, hardcore-punk, instrumental, post-rock, electronic, math-rock, alternative).
For those who might initially dismiss some music as being “too heavy”, this show aims to highlight tracks that people can connect with and hopefully find something new to enjoy.
Definitely still loud, still heavy but also scattered with ambient and lush instrumental moments to create a varied and thoughtful playlist, introducing listeners to new bands and artists with perhaps a darker and experimental edge."
