Burroughs is a Glasgow-based producer of raw, Detroit-inflected house and techno. His debut Mail Art EP appeared on Domenic Cappello’s Seventh Sign imprint 2017, following up with a further two EPs on the same label, Habit of Mind and 2024’s Half Light. His sound expanded into widescreen electronics with The Whole Damn Drift (Outerzone 2023).
His long-forged partnership with Robert Tomlinson has recently spawned the No Shallow Pool club night. The pair have a half century of record hunting between them; the new party providing them the opportunity to share select cuts from their collections in an intimate setting in Glasgow’s southside.
