"Lisa is a Glasgow-based musician, she splits her time between playing the violin, production/composition (mainly for theatre) and facilitating music workshops.
She loves ambient, and sound-design focused music. Her music makes heavy use of strings, voice, field recordings and samples from them.. She uses her regular Radio Buena Vida slot as a space to find and share new and different artists in a similar sound world. The show has a heavy focus on music with field recordings, vocals combined with ambient textures, and sound-designy-electronicy-experimentally goodness.
She first got into DJing in the supportive Manchester DJing scene - with community radios and organisations, like All Hands on Deck, encouraging her. Now she lives in Glasgow she really loves being part of such a community orientated radio station. "
