"FemmeDM is a Glasgow-based female DJ collective. Founded in March 2023, FemmeDM has quickly made its mark in the Scottish dance music scene. The 6 residents now have 2 bi-monthly residencies in La Cheetah and Broadcast, and continue to make a number of appearances around the country in the likes of Cab Vol, Sneaky Petes, Tunnels, The Berkeley Suite and SWG3.
The collective's vision is to empower female-identifying DJs to get into the local music scene, and they regularly host open decks in Glasgow to encourage and celebrate upcoming local talent. FemmeDM is an inclusive, supportive community for female and LGBTQ+ DJs in the electronic music community.
They have residents and guests playing a number of genres, including house, garage, amapiano, breaks, dubstep, UK Bass, jungle, hardgrooves, techno and trance. They are showing no sign of slowing down and have huge plans for 2024.
